the kids who said this isnt the place for chess are wrong... I happen to love chess.net. it has the best interface ive ever seen... even if there are pricks, they are every where. I see nothing wrong with this server. In fact, the bots on this server are very tough and beat IM's all the time.... and there are regulars who could be considered masters themselves. AND YES< I LOVE CHESS :-p

I did love chess before I came to chessnet. I agree with Ct-NDSUman. If you love chess then Chessnet is not the place for you. Try Icc or Fics. As I said I have been at chessnet awhile and it has ruined my game. I suck OTB now but I am capable of getting better again as use to carry 1700+ in blitz,1700+ in lightning, and 1700+ in standard. I like chess but the love is gone right now.

Yes there are some good players ,some Fide Masters ,National Masters and sometimes International Master comes to play a few matches. Also there are usually good players in tournaments.
