My name is Bartlomiej Macieja. I am from Warsaw, Poland, and am 21 years of age. I have become (since 1.1.1999) a Grand Master, with an ELO rating of 2553. I offer full, comprehensive Chess Lessons here at http://www.chess.net encompassing beginner, intermediate and expert levels of play. Vice-champion of Europe (in team competition) ("Polonia" Warsaw) Kazan 1997
Vice-champion of Poland 1998
7-8 place (with Karpov!) in Polanica-Zdroj XVIIcat (before Oll and Markowski) 4points of 9 +2=4-3 and GM-norm
Winnings: Krasenkow (black) and Markowski (white)
Draws: Ivancuk (white), Shirov (black), Oll (black), Leko (white)
Losses: Rublewski (black), Karpov (white), Gelfand (black)
1-4 places with Nisipeanu,Babula and Almasi in Krynica 1998 in zonal tournament, and GM-norm. So I will play in Las Vegas
Vice-champion of Europe (in team competition) ("Polonia" Warsaw) Belgrad 1999 becoming GM
Winning 3 blitzes with Grand Master Shirov
I have been studying physics at Warsaw University for 2.5 year
I will play 6-games match with Shirov in Summer
I don't speak perfect English. I must polish my English, because it is too Polish now ;-)
